Sailing

Most of these watercolour paintings of sailboats were painted in Sydney, Australia, often from the deck of a boat. Yachting evokes a very special feeling which is captured by these paintings: the thrill of rough seas and high winds, the pleasure of dropping anchor at one of Sydney’s peaceful anchorages. The red sailed yachts on the inland water of Saaler Bodden were painted in north-eastern Germany. Some are still available for sale if you are interested.
