Maribor on the River Drava in Slovenia is a city to capture your heart. It is a vibrant city with its red rooves and wine-bars, ice-cream shops and fruit markets. The population loves music and holds a wonderful festival each year called the Maribor Music Festival. Many of these paintings were painted while I was at the Maribor Music Festival and they feature in the book: The Painted Musician, from Sydney to Dunedin, Hamburg to Maribor.
