Mother’s Flowers

My mother was an avid gardener and built several stunning gardens in her lifetime. At 84 she moved into the small town near their farm, onto a block with no garden at all and there she created a haven. That garden still attracts admirers even now, ten years after her death. During the time when I was clearing her house, I painted flowers as therapy. The flowers were in such abundance that they often overwhelmed the pages in my drawing pad.
