Frome (pronounced Froom) is a very picturesque market town in England built on steep hills.
I house-sat in Frome for friends who were away a few days at a wedding. Before leaving, my artist friend showed me how to make monoprints (see below) in her studio and I discovered another fun way to make images. However, Frome is perfect for a watercolourist, so I spent most of my time wandering the streets with my watercolours, painting as I explored.
My friends took me for a drive through the surrounding countryside and stopped by the river at Tellisford, watching the children jump from the trees there into the river below.
