The well known Jazz/Soul musician Jackie Orszaczky plays at my local pub each
Tuesday night . For a year I sketched Jackie and his band most Tuesdays over a
beer (the sketches are here). Sometimes the music is
just so touching I have to put my brush down and just flow with the music. My
aim in these two paintings was to capture the communication between the members
of the band. The left hand painting was entered in the 2004 Archibald Prize. Click
