Art Smitten Gallery

Classical musicians from around the world gather to play at the Maribor Music Festival, in Slovenia which is held for 10 days in September each year. I went to the festival for the first time in 2009 and was instantly hooked. The energy, creativeness and camaraderie among the musicians make for memorable performances. The music is wonderful, but fun as well.

These pictures were painted over six years from 2009 to 2015. Each year I got to know the musicians better and the sketches became more detailed.
